I'm a past mind in a current world.  I was raised with very little money, but very little distractions and very little stress.    Creativity, imagination, daydreaming, stillness and inner peace was my childhood.   After a tumultuous adjustment to the real world, I'm now bringing all that back into my life.   And I've realized, that IS my life.

Now I'm still participating in the craziness of society by pursuing a PhD in Atmospheric Science to study global climate change.  The environmental goal appeals to my ideals, while the overwhelming breadth of knowledge required challenges my simple creative mind.    A little more time will tell whether it is right for me.   Regardless, I love Boulder along with its progressive, health-conscious, environmentally-conscious culture, and I love being at the foot of the mountains along with the instant access to the awe of nature.

I feel a special connection with many of you here at Gaia, with the focus on improving ourselves, and living for something greater than ourselves, particularly a better world.   

I wish everybody health, happiness, self-security, love, generosity, energy, vitality, and inner peace.    If everybody has that, it will lead to global peace, harmony, and sustainability.
